Of course I made a golden effort to keep up with the blog again, and I have failed in that effort. Why I keep thinking I can do this once school starts is beyond me.
What have I been up to? I stared a Floss Tube Channel known as, what else.... The Disorderly Stitcher. I use my computer, I don't edit, and I'm just as real as possible showing what I do manage to work on and talk about school. If you see this post, come on over and set a spell.
I have allowed myself to be creative this summer. So many projects worked on.
Two quilts quilted by the long armer - binding will be put on this winter
Cross stitch projects completed - jumped on the wagon again thanks to Covid
Cleaning up my sewing room
Purchasing (too much) quilting and cross stitch stuff
Purchasing a new sewing maching - Juki with only straight stitch capability
Now I have to switch gears into school mode. Until next summer.....
This is totally ridiculous.... one year between posts. So what have I been up to.......
School went well this past year. It took a little bit for the kids to get back into the 'in school' thing.
Gallbladder recovery went well.
My bad knee is still bad.... have to lose weight before they will replace it, but walking on a bad knee is difficult; so it is a Catch-22.
The one thing I have done, thanks to Covid, is jump back into Cross Stitch. And, I am loving it!!!! I have so many charts kitted up with floss and fabric and I keep buying more. My husband said I will have plenty to do when I retire...if I can ever afford to retire.
